In the latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, we met Shreya Priyam Roy, one of the most popular female comedians in India. During this episode, we explored Delhi’s Yashwant Palace, also known as Momo Market – a haven for momo lovers. This place is a must-visit in Delhi. We not only tried a variety of momo but also learnt a lot about Shreya Priyam and her journey from her hometown to becoming a comedian and much more. We Enjoyed Some Delicious Treats With Shreya Priyam Roy
During our food trail in the Momo Market, we stopped by Laguna Sizzlers to try not only juicy momo but also delicious sizzlers. As soon as the sizzler arrived at the table, Shreya Priyam commented that the sizzler is one food item that needs no introduction. It is its own hype man, introducing itself even before it reaches the table. The sound and the smoke arrive faster than the dish itself.
While we relished all of these delicious treats, we were curious to know Shreya Priyam’s favourite cuisine and what she orders whenever she goes out. She revealed that her go-to comfort food is Dal Chawal. She is really fond of Indian cuisine and also loves Asian dishes, with Thai curry and Khao Suey being some of her favourites.

She Wanted To Become An IAS Officer As A Kid
During this episode, Shreya Priyam Roy also shared how she found her calling to become a comedian, though it was definitely not her initial plan. She revealed that as a child, she thought she would pursue the IAS (Indian Administrative Service). However, as she grew up, she realised that it wasn’t her cup of tea and wanted to become a painter instead. But she didn’t see it as a realistic career choice, so she dropped that idea as well. When she came to Delhi for college, she met different people pursuing careers in various art forms, which made her believe that it’s actually possible to choose a career that isn’t based on academics.
During this episode, Shreya Priyam Roy also mentioned that she would love to have an all-girls Instagram. Wondering why? Watch the full episode on the Curly Tales YouTube channel.
