And one of the most cherished traditions of the UAE happens to be the Eid cannons. Here’s a list of seven spots that have been revealed for Eid where you can watch the ceremonial gesture.
Dubai Police Announces Locations For Eid Canons
The Dubai Police have announced the locations of Eid al-Fitr Canon for 2025. Yes, these cannons were previously used as an audible signal to mark Iftar or Eid. This was especially true before the invention of clocks. However, now it has more or less become a ceremonial gesture, and they continue with this tradition. As a result, a tribute to the cultural legacy, the Dubai Police have announced seven locations where you can watch the Eid al-Fitr canons with your loved ones.

Here’s Where You Can Find Them
Now, coming to the locations of the canons, here’s a list of the places where you can spot them:
- Zabeel – near Zabeel Grand Mosque
- Eid prayer ground – Nad Al Sheba
- Eid prayer ground – Nad Al Hamar
- Al Baraha
- Al Barsha
- Umm Suqeim
- Hatta
As it happens, a dedicated team has been assigned to each of these locations. This is a part of the celebration for marking Eid with Canon fire.
