Berlin Emerges As The Favourite Solo Travel Destination In 2024
As per a report by Kayak and OpenTable, the tourism industry is witnessing a rapidly growing trend of solo travel. People like the freedom of exploring new places, landscapes, and cultures alone. They also prefer the flexibility and personalisation they can add to their adventures while solo travelling. They can personalise destinations, itineraries, and activities while travelling solo and it adds to the charm! The report further suggested that more than 50% of Americans are planning to travel solo this year.
Kayak and OpenTable also released a list of top 10 solo travel destinations in the world and Germany’s Berlin topped the list! From vibrant culture and historic landmarks to techno clubs and dynamic nightlife, the city has it all for solo travellers! The report further showed that Berlin is also pocket-friendly for American solo travellers as an average meal costs $31 (₹2,602) and hotel prices at $168 (₹14,104) per night.
