The discount period, however, is from December 1st to January 9th. Additionally, it does not include aggravated offences! The report mentions how residents have been urged to clear the dues through emirate-level police websites or through the Ministry of Interior’s MOI app. As it happens, this is in line with the efforts to improve road safety, and it is expected that more emirates might announce similar initiatives as the UAE celebrates National Day on December 2nd. So, it is advisable that if you have such fines that are to be paid soon, then make sure to do it ASAP and make the most out of the limited period discount that is being offered for the joyous occasion.
