Travelling around the world is opening up slowly, and to ensure that travellers feel safe again, resorts are luring the customers in different ways. And the latest one to join the bandwagon is the Baha Mar resort. Baha Mar resort is all set to offer guests the most luxurious Covid-19 travel insurance policy. Read on to know more about this one-of-its-kind policy.

The Resort Will Offer Guests A Private Jet To Home If They Test Positive

The luxurious resort is already providing on-site testing to the guests, but now, in addition to that, the resort will also offer any guest who tests positive for the virus the choice of either a complimentary private jet to get home or a free, 14-day stay in a suite with a daily dining credit of $150 per person. Speaking about this initiative with Travel and Leisure, Graeme Davis, the president of Baha Mar said,

“In this ever-changing travel environment, it is our goal to alleviate travellers’ concerns surrounding COVID-19, in an effort to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our guests. Our Travel with Confidence program is the first of its kind in the industry, providing travellers with added peace of mind and the option to safely return home, or quarantine at no added expense – the choice is theirs.”

The Resort Has Three Luxury Hotels And Also Offers Guests With Personal Care Kit On Arrival

For the resort, it has three luxury hotels- the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, SLS Baha Mar, and Rosewood Baha Mar. The property requires guests to undergo a rapid antigen test upon arrival, and for the same, it provides complimentary on-site covid-19 testing to comply with the protocols. The resort is also offering guests a “personal care” amenity kit with hand sanitiser, disinfecting wipes, gloves, and a face mask, and requires masks be worn in all public areas.

Besides this, the Bahamas also requires travellers to test negative for covid-19 within five days of their trip and apply for a Bahamas Health Travel Visa. Travellers then have to take a second, rapid antigen test on day 5 of their visit.
