Sangeeta(@sangeetas_cooking_mantra), a popular baker on Instagrammer recently posted a reel that solves your biggest baking issue — a broken cake. The professional baker literally gives a tutorial for fixing a broken cake for aspiring bakers and foodies on Instagram. In her caption, she asks if we’ve ever faced problems with broken cakes. And then assures us that there’s no need to panic, even if it’s a last-minute issue. Stop panicking and fix the issue right away says Sangeeta.

For this, she shared a useful reel where she shows a broken chocolate cake. How do you fix it? Easy, peasy, just use ganache! In the tutorial, Sangeeta first spreads a coating of chocolate ganache over a cake board. Next, she goes on to place the broken chocolate cake pieces over it. And then lets it stick. Next, she coats the sides with a bit of syrup. After this, she evenly spreads another layer of chocolate ganache on the cake. She places another layer of chocolate cake.

All You Need Is A Little Panache & Ganache!

On this two-tiered chocolate cake, she coats with the chocolate ganache which acts as a delicious frosting. Finally, places it in the fridge for 30 minutes for setting. Voila! Your broken cake is mended in no time. In the caption, Sangeeta tells her followers that ganache acts like glue. And it’s important to use good quality ganache. For frosting, she suggests using whipped cream too.
