‘Never Have I Ever’ With Gurleen Pannu
While enjoying an ice cream tub with five amazing flavours from SoftyBoy Ice Cream in Sarojini Nagar, we played ‘Never Have I Ever’ with Gurleen Pannu. When we asked her if she had ever Googled herself or tried to impress someone only to fail, she said yes. Next, we asked if she had ever performed a set without preparation; she revealed that her Comicstaan finale act happened impromptu!
We also asked Gurleen if she had ever been roasted so badly that she wanted to slap a comedian. She laughed and said never but added that’s not the reason she has ever wanted to slap a fellow comedian! Next, when asked if she had ever been given a funny nickname that stuck, she shared that all her life, people have referred to her as Pannu instead of Gurleen, and that nickname has truly stuck.
After wrapping up our game and food trail with Gurleen, we asked her about her biggest achievement so far. She shared that she feels extremely fortunate to have turned her passion into a career. Gurleen Pannu considers it a huge achievement to be doing what she always wanted, and, even more so, to be doing it successfully, receiving love from the audience, and making a living from it. She truly feels blessed.
