Adel Sajan

On this episode of Sunday Brunch, we had the utter delight of dining with Adel and Sana Sajan of the Danube Group. We got to witness their unabashed luxury and the lavish life that they lead. However, despite their not-so-quiet luxury, they insisted that they were all about instilling a diligent work ethic in their children, as was done to Adel Sajan during his childhood by his father. In this episode, we discuss how he joined his father’s failing business and turned it into a profitable venture.

How Adel Sajan Joined His Father’s Business And Turned It Around

While discussing his father’s legacy, Adel Sajan talked about how he started on his business journey with his father. He mentioned that when he joined, there was a retail business in which his dad was losing nearly 10 million a year.

Because of this loss, he wanted to shut the business down, but Adel talked to him and asked for a period of two years. As per Adel, the two years were quite arduous, and the hardest thing he had to face was apparently the perception that people have of him as the Chairperson’s son.

However, he worked hard and got a team of talented professionals. Owing to the team, he managed to turn the business into a 720 million business!
