A Sneak Peak Into Guruji’s Morning

In the interview, Gaur Gopal Das tells us that his morning starts as early as 3:30 am! His day starts with an early morning shower with a peaceful meditation to connect to nature and soul every day. He chants and worships for an hour to two hours making up his time till 7 am in the morning already! While most of the world is still asleep this monk already has done most of what everyone does in a day only till 7 am.

No wonder he is the coolest monk, Guruji weight trains in the following part of his day. His trainer comes at 7:30 am in the morning to work out! Not yoga, not cardio… but weight training. He really is a monk with a difference!

Road To His Becoming Of A Monk

Gaur Gopal Das didn’t picture himself as a public figure or social media influencer when he was younger, but he always knew he wanted to affect change and have a positive impact on the world. The monk considers himself fortunate to have been surrounded by those who encouraged him to advance spiritually. 

He talks about his experiences at the monastery, where he spent years and laid the foundation of his life. He learnt the value of humility, how to avoid becoming sidetracked, how abundant and scarce necessities are, and many other crucial teachings.
