Ridhi Dogra’s First-Ever Paycheck Didn’t Come From Acting

In this episode, Ridhi Dogra treated us to her favourite momo spot in Delhi—Dolma Aunty Momos in GK M-Block Market. Next, it was time to enjoy some red sauce pasta from Brown Sugar. While it wasn’t her go-to during college, she fondly recalled their red sauce pasta—a dish she often turned to after a fun night out with friends when no other food joints were open.

While we waited for the pasta, we were curious to know if she remembered her first-ever paycheck and how she used it. Ridhi Dogra mentioned that her first-ever pay cheque did not come from working as an actress but from when she was still doing her mass communication degree during her internship at Zoom Television. She revealed that she received ₹10,000 for 10 days of work and used that money to take a trip to Goa. That’s certainly a great way to use a first salary!

The First Time She Realised She Was Popular

Ridhi Dogra has definitely come a long way in her acting journey, from being a television actress to starring in a movie with Shah Rukh Khan. But when was the first time she felt like she had actually become popular? Ridhi Dogra revealed that it was during her television serial ‘Maryada.’ She said it was the first time that she and the show’s team went to different cities in India for promotions. Not only that, she was also surrounded by bodyguards during that time. It really made her feel that, “Okay, people really know me.” It was the first time she felt that she was popular.
