And of course, Shah Rukh Khan is the reason behind it. Read on to learn how Starbucks opened its first outlet at SRK’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment in Khar, Mumbai.

When Coffee Meets Bollywood: The Story Behind Starbucks At Red Chillies

Starbucks CEO Sushant Dash on Raj Shamani’s podcast shared the interesting story behind the birth of Starbucks’ outlet at Red Chillies Entertainment Office. Dash shared that Shah Rukh Khan is a big Starbucks fan. At least that’s what the CEO heard from his sources. The actor wanted a Starbucks store at his production company. A person from SRK’s company approached Dash, saying that he was very keen to have a Starbucks store.

To which the CEO happily obliged and worked with his team to open a Starbucks outlet at the Red Chillies Entertainment office. Nestled on 15th Road, this cafe over time became a popular meeting spot in the bustling Bandra-Khar area. A massive Starbucks fan like Shah Rukh Khan was the reason behind the opening of Starbucks’ Khar outlet. The CEO shared that it’s a beautiful store located at SRK’s place. Moreover, he is the landlord.

Alia Bhatt & Tamannaah Bonded With SRK Over Coffee

Shah Rukh Khan’s love for coffee has been revealed by many of his co-actors and colleagues. Earlier, Alia Bhatt mentioned a funny story from the sets of their film Dear Zindagi. She revealed that the actor doesn’t eat much and during the long and heavy scenes filmed, she could hear his stomach growl. The team would immediately give him biscuits and coffee. The Jigra actress mentioned how SRK drank a lot of coffee.
