On our latest Sunday Brunch episode, we have none other than Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabi, the stars of Bhul Chook Maaf. Our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani, enjoyed a wonderful brunch of Maa ki Dal, Chole Kulche and Potato Basket with the stars who played fun games and also showed off their impressive drawing skills during the interview. Rajkummar Rao even openly revealed what his definition of success looks like.
Rajkummar Rao Shares What Success Means To Him
While talking to Kamiya Jani, Rajkummar Rao stated that there are many permutations and combinations to success. “You have to be somewhat worthy enough to get it, especially in our industry.” He stressed that this was the case especially for outsiders in the film industry. Kamiya asked Rajkummar how he’d define success. He said, “For me… going back home to my loved ones and having a peaceful sleep at night is success. The day I don’t have this, I feel my day hasn’t been great. I don’t feel so successful.”
Wamiqa Gabi related to his words and remembered her father’s wise words. Her father told her that if she isn’t able to look at herself in the eyes, in the mirror and isn’t able to sleep peacefully at night, something is wrong. The actress revealed feeling successful at this point in time in her life, as her parents and loved ones were very proud of her. “They always wanted to see me do a Bollywood film. I really feel with Bhool Chook Maaf, I am successful for my parents,” gleamed Wamiqa.
