This Is What CM Mohan Yadav Loves About MP

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav believes that one of MP’s most special features is its thriving wildlife. He believes that MP’s forests are ‘living forests,’ home to a vast array of species. MP stands out because its forests have animals that are not found in many other parts of India. He also mentioned that MP has cheetahs, a species not found anywhere else on the entire Asian continent. Surely, that’s something every Indian can be proud of.

The forests in MP are not just flourishing, they have also seen a significant rise in the population of wild animals. In 2022, CM Mohan Yadav brought 20 cheetahs from Namibia and South Africa, and now the population of cheetahs has doubled. The cheetahs were brought under the Cheetah Project, under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi, which has been a huge success. However, many other countries have failed in their efforts to bring animals from abroad and help them adapt to a new environment. 

“Tiger bhi sabse zyada yahi paye jate hai. Leopard, bhediye, giddh, pure desh mein sabse zyada kahi hai, toh wo yaha hai,” he said. Not only this, the state is also working to increase the population of crocodiles and turtles in its cleanest river, the Chambal. CM Mohan Yadav himself has released more than 100 of them after the eggs were nurtured for 2–3 years. He feels proud to be the leader of this beautiful state, which is also known as the Wildlife Capital of India.

Promoting Film Shoots And Production In Madhya Pradesh

CM Mohan Yadav is actively promoting tourism and film production in the state. The MP government has introduced a film policy to actively support the production of films and web series in the state. His government is committed to offering incentives and promoting these efforts for the overall development of the state. He also loves that many celebrities visit the state, and that Bhopal is the hometown of Amitabh Bachchan’s wife and renowned actress Jaya Bachchan. “Hume garv hai ki wo hamare damad hai,’’ he said. The CM is also creating a welcoming environment for art and cinema in MP.
