On this episode of Tere Gully Mein, the talented creator joined us to explore Bengaluru’s Indiranagar and indulge in mouth-watering feasts at many famous food joints and cafes.
Rida Tharana Ate Something Strange In Thailand
In a tête-à-tête with Curly Tales, Rida walked around her favourite city and tried delicious delicacies at the newly-opened Imlee The Chaat Gali, The Filter Coffee, and Kopitam Lah. We had a wonderful time exploring the bustling Indiranagar and relishing lip-smacking food with her. From her content creation journey to her food choices, we got to know her like never before.
While talking about weird eating preferences, Rida shared about trying insects on a trip to Thailand. While revealing her weird culinary escapades, she talked about eating worm-like creatures on her holiday in this tropical destination. Looks like Thailand is a go-to place for many Indians to try and experiment with weird food.
Unfortunately, Rida had a poor experience as the worms tasted bad. Rida could not eat completely. She had to vomit it to throw it out. “My body could not take it in so I puked it out,” shared Rida.

She Is Very Possessive About Dosas!
Social media platforms are flooded with bizarre recipes and experiments with dosas. Being a true dosa lover, Rida is completely against any weird dishes prepared with dosa. Reacting to the combination of dosa and ice cream, she responded, “Don’t you dare do a thing to dosa. Let dosa be doa. Leave dosa out of the picture please.”
Expressing her love for this classic South Indian dish, she funnily described how her heart cannot take videos of new weird recipe reels of dosa. Just like old songs are meant to be old, dosa also needs to be kept the same way, Rida further shared quite possessively.
