Bollywood actress, Punjabi girl and South Indian food enthusiast, Radhikka Madan, joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for a fun Tere Gully Mein episode. Kamiya drove through the gullies of Bandra with Radhikka chatting away about her journey as a TV star and an actor in the Hindi film industry, her love for food and travel and more. The Delhiite even revealed what she missed the most when she moved to Mumbai.
Delhiite Radhikka Madan Reflects On Life In Mumbai
While devouring a South Indian feast at Tanjore Tiffin, Kamiya asked Radhikka Madan how many pani puris can she gulp down in one go. To this, the actress said, “Paanch tak khaalungi.” ( I can eat upto 5). While she counts her pani puris, she doesn’t count her puris. She revealed that she has forgoed counting the hot puris served at her home.
Talking about home and home-cooked food, Radhikka revealed that the minute she gets a break of two to three days, she flies to Delhi. Radhikka said that leaving one’s home to make a living leads to one becoming mature at a young age. “When you start making your own life, you start valuing your family more,” said the talented actress.

Misses The Hospitality Of Delhiites
She talked about having an attitude about needing space from one’s parents. But once people grow up, they get over that attitude. Right now, Radhikka Madan revealed that she is in the mindset to want to spend more time with her family. “Is there a difference between the people in Mumbai and Delhi? And what is that difference?” asked Kamiya.
“Khatirdaari, khaana pilaana, aap reh jaao,” chimed Radhikka, emphasising the warm hospitality of Delhiites, the ability to make someone instantly feel at home. She misses the community feeling one gets in Delhi. While her younger self loved the independence she got, she eventually got tired of the loneliness and walking into an empty home. Now, Radhikka revealed her parents fly down before an awards night to support her and be there for her during her successes.
