Talented TV and film star Radhikka Madan joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for a fun drive through Bandra. During the fun chat Radhikka candidly revealed what scares her most as an outsider in the Hindi film industry. The most interesting surprise was that the Punjabi girl is a massive fan of South Indian food.
Radhikka Madan Reveals Her Experience As An Outsider In The Film Industry
Kamiya drove through the gullies of Bandra, with Radhikka Madan as the passenger princess on this episode of Tere Gully Mein. The latter revealed that as an outsider in the Hindi film industry, she doesn’t have the luxury to mess up. She said she can’t give an average performance in her first film and expect people to pat her back. Radhikka candidly confessed that the day she has that attitude and does “average” work, she will be out. And a line of people will wait to replace her.
So, Radhikka Madan works hard to keep showing a different side to herself in every character she plays. Whether it’s changing her dialects and accents to show her versatility or learning a new martial art for a film, she tries to offer something different in every film of hers. Now, she said she feels set or comfortable in the industry.
Kamiya interjected and asked her if she takes time out to enjoy her success. The Pataakha actress revealed that she does feel grateful and gets a good night’s sleep knowing she is performing her roles well. But Radhikka has only one fear as an outsider. She said, “Mujhe itna pyaar hai iss cheez se, mujhe mauka dena math koi na chhode bas.” (I have so much love for it {acting}. I hope people don’t stop giving me opportunities)
The Duo Gorged On South Indian Food At Tanjore Tiffin
After this senti conversation, the duo headed to Tanjore Tiffin for a lavish South Indian feast. Radhikka Madan took over the reins by placing an order for rasam, lemon rice and vegetarian Madras railway curry. There was even dosa, podi idli, appam and stew in the mix. Radhikka confessed to mixing all her dishes and indulging in “weird” combinations.
