The Great Khali is a name we’ve all been familiar with since our childhood, and why wouldn’t we be? He has been a legend since his WWE wrestling days. WWE’s craze was at its peak back then, and Khali made a name for himself around the world with his intense and impressive wrestling skills. He won fights against some of the most powerful wrestlers, which was not an easy task. Proper training and diet were a must, and in this episode of Tere Gully Mein, Khali finally revealed the diet he used to follow during his wrestling days.
Secret Diet Of The Great Khali
As we were exploring Khali’s Dhaba in Haryana, he gave us insight into the diet he used to follow during his wrestling days. His diet always included rice, chicken, and a lot of veggies. He didn’t eat rotis; instead, he had boiled eggs and said he could eat up to 24 of them in a day. Curly Tales was amazed by his diet and was unsure about taking up the challenge of ‘The Great Khali Thali,’ where we had to finish a plate filled with a variety of items in just 10 minutes.
When asked about how strictly he used to follow the diet, he replied, “Mai zadatar basic pe believe karta tha; non-veg, vegetarian food sab leta tha mai aur carbohydrates pe kafi dhyan bhi dena padta tha.” He added, “As a bodybuilder mujhe pata hai ki jitna zada aap fat or oil khayege, toh aapke muscles ruk jayege or wo dab jayege, islie junk food mai shuru se hi nahi khata tha.” Truly, Khali’s diet reflects the result of years of hard work and discipline, and that’s exactly why he won so many fights in the world of wrestling.

Witness The Fun Side Of Him
Khali has always been a serious guy, and we rarely saw him laughing, right? But Curly Tales tried to bring out Khali’s fun side in this episode, in its own unique style. We asked him to dedicate songs to his contemporaries from the wrestling world, and surprisingly, he did a great job. Any guesses who he dedicated the song ‘Tere Jaisa Yaar Kaha’ to? It’s John Cena! Despite the violent fights, Khali has always been a great friend to his fellow wrestlers.
