Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with Diljit Dosanjh and his Jatt & Juliet 3 co-star, Neeru Bajwa for a fun-filled conversation followed by a great lunch. Today, we talk about where he feels at home after his sold-out world tours, mind-blowing performances and film promotions; read on.
Where Does Diljit Dosanjh Think His Home Is?
While in deep conversations with our guests about life, career and some childhood anecdotes, Kamiya asked Diljit about where he feels at home. We had the biggest smiles plastered on our faces when we heard his lovely response and we are sure, you will too! He said, “Mera ghar logo ke dilo mein ji. Yehi batana chahta hoon ki mera ghar logo ke dilo mein ho!”
Hence, he believes his home is metaphorically in people’s hearts. Although he pointed out he doesn’t have a fixed home, wherever he travels, it feels like home to him. Kamiya lauded this by saying, “Kya baat hai!”

This Is What He Feels After Every Performance
Kamiya asked Diljit if he ever felt like he could perform better after finishing a show. To our surprise, he said it is almost every time. He shared with us that he constantly thinks about how he could have performed better on stage, especially when it comes to team coordination. He also said that sometimes he feels this way when shooting for a film.
Then highlighted that he is a little relieved when he is performing concerts on the stage. Why so? Well, he told us that stage performances are for live audiences, hence, it is not going to be broadcast anywhere. He said, “Stage ke baad toh ho gaya joh hona tha. Yeh toh aaj hi release ho gaya, aab uska kya hi kar sakte hai.”
Paaji, your performances are legendary and every person in the audience is up on their feet to dance and have a gala time because you transform the atmosphere instantly!
