On this marvellous episode of Tere Gully Mein, our host Tonakshi Kalra roamed the streets of Delhi with the Mirzapur actor Rajesh Tailang. They spoke about everything, from his family background to his dating life. We learned a lot of things about this talented actor and we had a great time with him! While relishing some masaledaar chhole bhature, we asked him some equally masaledaar questions about his personal life!
This Is Where Rajesh Tailang Went For Most Of His Dates
While relishing a spicy plate of chhole bhature at Nathu’s, Rajesh Tailang revealed that he’s been on dates at this establishment. He then revealed that during his dating days, there was unfortunately a dearth of date spots in Delhi.
He said that the one place that he’s been to on dates the most is the Delhi Zoo. There is a reason why this was the case. He said that back then, both money and good hangout spots were hard to come by. Unlike today, when the city is swarmed with cafes and malls, there wasn’t much to do.
One could only sit in a restaurant for so long without it becoming a burden on your pocket. One could only walk around the city for so long without tiring out or getting baked in the sun. The zoo, therefore, with its shades, benches and snack stalls proved to be quite a convenient place where one could spend a long time walking, chatting, then sitting and snacking.
What Does He Think Of Today’s Dating Culture?
When asked about his thoughts on dating culture and the modern phenomena of ghosting, benching and hookups, he gave us a delightfully refreshing take. Instead of bashing today’s dating culture, as most people his age do, he said that it’s just the nomenclature that has changed.
He maintained that these things happened in his day and age as well but people just did not have the vocabulary to talk about it and how they do.
