This Is Why Purav Jha Decided To Start His Own YouTube Channel

Curly Tales met Purav Jha, aka ‘India’s Human AI’ and a popular YouTube sensation, in a recent episode of Tere Gully Mein. Initially, he worked under the renowned YouTuber Harsh Beniwal, known for his comedy vlogs and videos. Purav then decided to start his journey by launching his own YouTube channel and went on to become one of the top YouTubers in India. Read on to know about his YouTube journey and how he earned the nickname of ‘AI.’

Purav Jha Wished To Have His Own YouTube Channel

Purav learnt everything about content creation when he was working with Harsh Beniwal.  He then came up with the idea that he needed to start his own YouTube channel, too. We asked him when he realised that he should start his channel, and he replied, “Ye mereko realise hua, jab meko laga ki ab aur paise kamane hai.” He added, “Nai yaar, mujhe aisa tha ki ab aur versatility lani thi apne kaam me or apni chizo me.”

In the beginning, he didn’t plan on creating fiction and was open to doing any kind of activity just to keep himself busy. Whenever he had free time, he often found himself wondering why he wasn’t doing something more. He believes that if people love your work, then you must constantly keep working. ‘’Maine fir sab kuch try kiya, gaming, vlogs, short films, but maza nahi aaya. Kyuki yaar wo acting wala hi ek keeda hai na ki kuch alag alag perform karna hai or hamesha se mera characters karne ka mann tha,’’ he said.

Which Video First Went Viral For Him?

For his own YouTube channel, Purav started with fiction videos and began to post them regularly. After a few of his videos, one that went viral on the internet was his ‘Bigg Boss’ video, where he mimicked multiple characters. From that point onwards, people began referring to him as ‘AI’ for his spot-on mimicry skills. He said, “Waha se boom hua or logo ne AI wala tag dena shuru kiya or comments me log bolne lage ki bhai ye banda to ‘AI’ hai, ekdum ditto kar raha hai.” He chose to turn the audience’s love into motivation and decided to take his YouTube journey to the next level.
