This year Shamnirmal Cha Shrimant Pandal welcomed a plain white idol of Ganpati with full enthusiasm and joy. Later with the help of swiss waffles (a waffle store) decorated the Ganpati idol with small coffee-brownish waffle biscuits. Sugar-free waffles and pancakes are specially made to protect the idol against bugs and ants. Ganpatiji’s feet are decorated with cute little blue and red pancakes. They designed different shapes of waffles to put on his eyes, nose, legs, and more.
