Nawazuddin Siddiqui invited our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani to his beautiful home in Mumbai for a delicious Sunday Brunch. He even gave a house tour of his luxurious mansion before the duo sat down to enjoy some Dal Ghost, Bajra Roti, and Phirni. The talented actor shared that a place in his big mansion still reminds him of his old house in his village.
A Reminder Of His Old Home
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been living in his Mumbai mansion for almost four years now. When Kamiya asked if there was a particular corner or place in the house that reminded him of his “goan ka ghar”, the actor immediately replied, “Upar ki balcony hai.”
He even took us there and it was a sight for sore eyes! Surrounded by tall lush trees, birds chirping in the background, and big plant pots everywhere, the place was perfect to wind down after a long day at work! Nawazuddin Siddiqui had even placed a few comfortable seats there to enjoy some “me-time” there.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui Designed His Home
Kamiya was quite impressed when Nawaz shared that he did not hire any interior designers to decorate his house and took up the task of designing himself. “Ek-ek cheez maine design ki hai. Bahut saare logo ne bola mujhe ki koi interior designer hire wagera karlo par mujhe kuch aisa banwana hi nahi tha. Mujhe simple rakha the interiors and mere mind main sa sab kyunki main aesthetic bhi padha hai and architecture bhi padha hai, toh designing wagera ka pata tha mujhe,” Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared.
He further shared that he sketched out his ideas and gave them to the constructors as he could draw fairly well.
