Movie buffs can head to Dubai to experience a unique film festival arriving this December. It’s time to dip your feet in the cold sands and watch an array of movies in the desert. Al Marmoom, the three-day desert film festival is back with its second edition. The film festival has a lot to offer apart from movies and everything comes for FREE. The desert film festival will take place at the first unfenced environmental protection reserve in the UAE, Marmoon Desert. The festival occupies the dates from 9th to 11th December 2022.
This event will be filled with numerous workshops, panel discussions and other activities for all ages ranging from kids to old.
Hosted by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the festival highlights budding directors in the city and provides a forum for young artists from the area to display their art.
By giving sector experts an opportunity to discuss their insights and expertise, the event hopes to encourage young talent to enter the field and support the viability of the local film business.

What To Expect At This Desert Film Festival?
There will soon be a schedule of movie screenings available for those cinephiles travelling there. There are programmes available for kids and teenagers where they can design their own natural hero, practise Arabic calligraphy, and more. Panel discussions with international experts and local business professionals will also be held. Children can also watch special movies tailored to their age range.
