Gordon Ramsay Reacts To Kian’s Cooking Video
Gordon Ramsay shared a video of him reacting to Kian preparing B**f Wellington from scratch. The American celebrity Chef who is usually known for his harsh criticism was wowed by the young chef. As he watched Kian searing the beef on a pan, Gordon wanted to know the young boy’s age, as he was impressed with his confidence in the kitchen. “Great sear by the way,” said the Chef.
“Bl**dy H*ll! Those knife skills are great!” exclaimed Gordon as he watched Kian expertly dice onions and chestnut mushrooms. Later, he added some butter and caramelised the diced onions and chestnut mushrooms. As he watched the boy caramelise the ingredients, Gordon called it “formidable.” Kian also blanches spinach and makes a puree out of it. At this point, Gordon even recommended Kian to participate in MasterChef Adults straight away.
Netizens Are Impressed By The Young Chef’s Cooking Skills
He adds the spinach puree to a batter with eggs and flour and whisks it into a dough to make spinach crepes. The young chef confidently makes thin spinach crepes over a pan. Then proceeds to stack them one on top of the other. He places the crepes over a thin plastic foil and then adds the thinly cut slices of b**f over it and the mushroom-onion mixture over it. He rolls it, covers it with a nice pastry including lattice and thyme leaves and bakes it. And the B**f Wellington is ready!
This video clocked over 26 million views so far. It’s one of the few videos where Gordon Ramsay was thoroughly impressed by the young chef’s knife skills and cooking skills. Netizens showered the boy with the sweetest compliments. One Netizen messaged, ” If Gordon says you are good, he means business.” Another person demanded a collab between Kian and Gordon ASAP. Many others liked his knife skills.
