Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Introduced Special Darshan Tickets For Devotees
The temple premises are thronged by devotees from nationwide. Every day, people in large numbers visit the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple and worship Lord Venkateswara. The massive crowds and rush often become a problem for many. To offer more seamless spiritual experiences for devotees, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the launch of darshan tickets.
The tourist footfall is on a noticeable rise here causing difficulties for devotees. The darshan tickets for special entry are expected to solve these troubles. Along with these tickets, TTD also announced room quotas for devotees. Visitors can now enjoy exclusive access to the mandir allowing them to enter sooner instead of standing in queues for a long time. With these tickets, they can also get a view of Lord Venkateswara faster, according to a report by News18.
Pilgrims cannot enter inside the mandir without the special darshan tickets released by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. Along with tickets, they also need to show the photo ID that they used to book tickets. Kids under the age of 12 years can enter without paying for tickets. For this, they need to present an age-proof certificate.
How To Book These Tickets?
The online process to book darshan tickets and room quotas is simple.
- Devotees must open the official website https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in, fill in the necessary details, and book.
- They can purchase each darshan ticket for ₹300.
- One person can get exclusive entry using a single ticket.
- TTD releases a specified number of tickets ahead of upcoming months. Once the quota opens, interested ones can book online.
- If any pilgrim wishes to get tickets offline, they can buy from ticket counters located close to the temple.
The quota for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams’s darshan tickets and rooms has been released already. Keep in mind that the concerned department will issue Tirumala Tirupati Srivari Seva Quota at 11 AM on June 27, 2024.
