So, from early May onwards, they had already started rolling out a multilingual social media awareness campaign that has been designed to educate both employers and workers. Titled ‘Their Safety Is Most Important,’ this campaign aims to showcase the importance of the midday work ban.
In fact, the inspection teams will also carry out unannounced visits to construction sites and even another outdoor workplaces to ensure that there is compliance. Moreover, our employers who violate this rule will end up facing legal penalties. As it happens, the authority has put an emphasis on how this regulation has been designed to protect the health and safety of workers. How To Keep Cool?
Keeping this in mind, it’s worth mentioning that it is a returning regulation this summer. Not to mention, if you are stepping out, you must ensure and take some important precautions, so that you don’t fall sick. For instance, before you step out, make sure to have a glass of water. This will allow your body to keep cool. While you’re at it, do carry electrolyte-infused water in a water bottle that you can keep sipping on throughout the day when you are outside in order to maintain your health.
So, no matter where you are, if you do step outside, do keep these precautions in mind to stay healthy during summer and not fall sick.
