Topgolf- The Celebrity- Favourite Sport Is Set To Launch In Dubai This Year

Dubai now has a new golf centre and it’s not just for golf enthusiasts. Topgolf, a brand new attraction is coming to Dubai in 2020 and its meant for kids and adults. The new spot will be an apt weekend hangout space for friends to play a friendly game of golf, enjoy good music and binge on good food and drinks.

What’s It?

The celebrity-loved sport Topgolf is popular in the US, UK and Australia and has now made its way to Dubai. The golf site is currently under construction at Emirates Golf Club. When complete, it will be the first of its kind in the UAE. When the centre open later this year, guests can enjoy the game split across three sections: professionals, families and adults-only. The centre sprawls 60,000 square feet and offers uninhibited views of the Dubai Marina and the city skyline.

Wondering how the game works? So, when you pay using your debit or credit card, a chip in your bucket of balls will register your details. When the ball reaches its destination, your score will automatically be recorded.

As well as golf, the new gaming arena will be complete with food, drinks and other games, making it a perfect spot for weekend outings with friends and family. And now the best part- you will be able to play throughout the year. Yes, even during summer as the hitting bays is climate controlled on all three floors, making it perfect for UAE summer and winter.

What Else?

Who’s up for playing golf in the dark? If you’re raising your eye brows, you probably are going to get wowed! Dubai has a new 3D golf experience and its set in the DARK.Yes, you read that right! The  glowing rooms in JBR’s Bahar cluster gives you a feel of what its like to pay golf in places outside of a golf course. The 3D Blacklight Minigolf has neon lighting and 3D effects painted on walls, adding more drama to the game.

From space setting to coral reefs and barren deserts, each room has a different theme, giving the players an experience they will cherish. A round takes about 45 minutes to two hours, depending on the number of players and how fast you play. Guests are given ChromaDepth glasses, which lets you experience a setting like never before, while you try to get a hole-in-one.

Entry is priced at AED 110 for adults, AED 90 for children between 6 to 12 years. Children under the age of 5 can enter for free. The gaming zone is open from 2:00pm to 11:30 pm through the week.
