Tornadoes are absolutely scary. These forces of nature rip through everything that comes in their way, and watching the videos of them tearing through cities is absolutely frightening. However, violent tornadoes are ripping through the US, with the situation being quite grim in some states. Here is all you need to know about the current situation from the US as several tornadoes ripped through the Central and Southern USA, leaving at least 32 fatalities behind.

Several States In The USA Hit By Tornadoes

Several states were hit with the worst of them being Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. As revealed in a report by Hindustan Times, Missouri has recorded the highest number of deaths. At least 12 people have died, and the death toll rose after eight people died on Friday in Kansas. Several vehicles have also been involved in collisions with some trucks, even getting overturned.

As tornadoes ripped through the states, homes were left unrecognisable, flattened into debris. Causing widespread destruction, trees were uprooted, homes were destroyed, and several thousands of people were left without power. As emergency responders rushed to assist residents, eyewitnesses described the tornadoes as a roaring funnel, as reported by AZ intel.

What Could Have Caused The Tornadoes?

Talking about the causes, it is believed that extreme conditions have caused this. Yes, the Storm System moving across the country is set to affect more than a hundred million people across the US. Deadly winds have caused tornadoes and dust storms, and they have even fanned the flames of several wildfires. According to the American Storm Prediction Centre, the fast moving storms have opposing a threat. These will especially become a lot more threatening if their hurricane force exceeds the speed of 100 miles per hour.

It’s worth mentioning that Eastern Louisiana, Mississippi through Alabama, Florida, and western Georgia are at high risk for tornadoes. However, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and Texas might face wildfires.
