In Delhi, the Traffic Police has announced restrictions around key temples, including Jhandewalan Mandir, Shri Adhya Katyayani Shaktipith Mandir in Chattarpur, and Kalkaji Mandir. Roads such as Rani Jhansi Road, Faiz Road, New Rohtak Road, and DBG Road near Jhandewalan Mandir will experience heavy traffic. For those heading to Chattarpur, areas like Chattarpur Mandir Road and MG Road will also face congestion.

The Outer Ring Road from Nehru Place to Modi Mill will be affected due to crowds at Kalkaji Mandir. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance, especially when travelling to major transport hubs like IGI Airport and railway stations. In Nashik, traffic changes have been implemented in anticipation of the Kalika Devi and Renuka Devi Yatrosvas during the Navratri festival. The Deputy Commissioner of Police has announced alternative routes and barricading points to manage traffic flow effectively. Key locations such as Trimbak Naka Signal and Gadkari Signal will experience restrictions. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes via the Nandini River Bridge and Sarada Circle to avoid congestion. These changes will remain in effect until Dussehra on October 12, 2024.

Nagpur is also preparing for increased traffic flow as devotees flock to Shri Mahalaxmi Jagdamba Mandir in Koradi. The local traffic police have issued an advisory detailing road closures and diversions to facilitate smooth movement. Vehicles will not be allowed from Appa Balwant Chowk to Bhudhwar Chowk, with an alternate route via Gadital Putala and Shivaji Road. One-way traffic will be permitted from Bhudhwar Chowk back to Appa Balwant Chowk, ensuring a streamlined travel experience for all.

Similarly, Pune city traffic police have announced road closures and diversions around temples like Chatushrungi Temple, Bhavani Mata Temple, and Tambdi Jogeshwari Temple. These measures are in place to manage the large crowds expected during the nine-day festival. Vehicles will be restricted from certain areas, and alternate routes have been earmarked for smooth travel.
