While this might ruffle a few feathers in Delhi, it firmly reaffirms India’s reputation as a top destination for delicious culinary experiences, especially with six Indian cities featuring on the list!
Mumbai Ranks Among The Top 5 Cities To Visit For Food In 2026
TasteAtlas’ 100 Best Food Cities to Visit in 2026 list is out and it features six Indian cities! And while it might offend many of you, Mumbai comprehensively beat Delhi and made it to 5th spot on the list. Trailing far behind, at 53rd position, New Delhi did make an entry in the list as well.
Apart from these metros, four other Indian cities earned a place on the list. Known for its chole kulche, lassi, sarson da saag, and makki ki roti, Amritsar ranked 48th, and we’re loving the recognition that this city received. Hyderabad followed close behind Delhi at 54th place, celebrated for its iconic biryani. Kolkata and Chennai rounded off the list at 73rd and 93rd positions, respectively.
