Kenya is getting a lot of popularity these days because of its wildlife safaris, stunning landscapes and rich culture. Wildlife lovers, including celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and more, have a deep connection to Masai Mara National Reserve and keep visiting the place to see lions, leopards, elephants and more. Not just that, but Kenya is also known for the Great Migration, which happens every year when millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles travel from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara.
So, if you are someone who is planning to visit the place, there is an important change. You will now need to show proof of mandatory travel health insurance. The decision was announced by the official X account of the High Commission of India in Nairobi. The advisory states that the Government of Kenya has introduced this new rule for foreign visitors staying for less than 12 months and entering Kenya on or after October 5, 2026.
How Can Indians Get Travel Health Insurance For Kenya?
