In a round of some fantastic developments, Saudis who hold a passport issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will no longer require an entry visa in Singapore. According to a news report by Gulf News, it was stated that the Singapore Embassy in Riyadh made this announcement and that this rule will be applicable from June 1. However, it’s worth noting that those who have already paid their visa processing fee or have received their visas, cannot take a refund. Earlier, it was just the people who held diplomatic passports who were exempted from Singapore visa requirements. So, those who do plan to visit the country before June 1, will have to apply for an entry visa.

Japan Embassy Allowed People Residing In Saudi Arabia To Apply For Electronic Visa

This move comes after an announcement by Japan last month, which said that Saudi citizens and foreign residents in Saudi Arabia can obtain an electronic tourist visa for the country. This means they will all be able to apply for a tourist visa online, which allows them to stay up to 90 days in the country. The announcement was made by the Japanese Embassy in Riyadh. Moreover, it’s worth mentioning that the visa fee is applicable on the basis of the nationality of the applicants and they will have to visit the embassy or the Consulate General to pay this fee in cash.
