Yes, those who are travelling to India on select routes can devour refreshing thandai drinks and sweet Holi treats, this March 13 and 14th. Emirates flights to the cities of Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Mumbai will serve sweet treats and refreshing thandai drinks to the customers. Yes, getting onboard with the festive spirit of Holi, they will be offering the much-loved Indian sweet Kesar Gujiya along with the meal for breakfast. For those who aren’t, this is basically a deep-fried dumpling that is stuffed with solidified milk and dried fruits. It will be served in a special design box that is reminiscent of the colourful festival of Holi.

Thandai, Bollywood Movies & More

On March 14, First and Business Class customers will be welcomed with chilled thandai, which is the festive drink made from milk and nuts and has flavour notes of saffron and rose petals. This drink is the perfect way to start the journey this festive season!

Customers will truly get in the Holi spirit as 180 Indian movies are available on Ice, the entertainment platform of Emirates. These Bollywood and regional Indian movies include new titles such as Patna Shuklla, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Shaitaan, and more. In fact, you can also find a variety of Indian TV shows with more than 40 albums and playlists of Indian music.
