American Rapper Offset Shot Outside Casino In Hollywood; Undergoing Treatment At Hospital

Offset, or Kiari Kendrell Cephus, a 34-year-old American rapper, singer, and songwriter, was recently shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Fortunately, he is currently stable and receiving treatment at a hospital. Authorities are currently investigating, and more details will be revealed soon. 

Rapper Offset Shot Outside Casino In Florida

Famous for hits like Bad and Boujee, Walk It Talk It, and Ric Flair Drip, American rapper Offset or Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA, on Monday, April 6, 2026. According to The Times of India, he was rushed to the Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment. He is currently stable and under observation. 

Details surrounding the shooting are limited. Authorities are investigating the matter. Officials have not revealed the circumstances that led to the shooting or the names of potential suspects. According to AP News, the Seminole Police Department said the rapper sustained injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police Detained Two People

According to The Independent, police detained two people and are currently questioning them. The site where the shooting occurred is secure. There is no threat to the public, and operations continue as normal. The rapper is best known as a member of the Grammy-nominated Atlanta hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff.  Reportedly, Offset’s cousin Takeoff was shot dead in 2022 at the age of 28 outside a bowling alley in downtown Houston after a private party. 

After the fatal shooting of his cousin, the hip-hop trio Migos disbanded in 2023. You would like to know that Offset was previously married to Cardi B, and they have three children together. The couple are currently separated and undergoing divorce proceedings.
