1. Paid Parking Is Coming To Jumeirah Village Circle This March

From March 16th onwards, there will be paid parking in the Jumeirah Village Circle. As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, PARKONIC has officially activated on-street paid parking. This is across the popular residential community, and it is the latest expansion of Dubai’s growing cashless ticketless parking network. These charges are tiered by time of day and apply every day of the week.

2. Autonomous Taxi Services Expands On Yas Island

Department of Municipalities and Transport has mentioned that commercial operations of level four automatic taxis on Yas Island has expanded. This marks another step in the emirate’s push towards smart and sustainable mobility. As it happens, the initiative is implemented under the supervision of a smart and autonomous system.

3. Electronic Service To Monitor Crowd Density Introduced

An electronic service has been introduced by the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. This is to monitor the crowd density in the corridor as revealed by the SPA. Moreover, this service is available through an interactive screen, which displays crowd levels in real time.

4. Jabal Shams To Witness The Major Phase Of Development

Through the implementation of a package of strategic projects that are valued at over OMR31 million, Jabal Shams will see a major phase of development. These projects aim to enhance the tourism and economic potential of the mountain. The key initiatives include the Jabal Shams Waterfront Project and the completion of the 32 km Jabal Shams Road.

5. Etihad Airways Announces Flight Schedule Until March 16

Etihad Airways flight until March 16th from Abu Dhabi. Passengers with existing bookings will be accommodated, and the new tickets are already available for purchase on the website. Passengers, however, have been advised not to travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by the airline or have a confirmed booking.
