Alan Cumming is back as host of the BAFTA Film Awards that took place on 22 February 2026 at the Royal Festival Hall within London’s Southbank Centre. Beyond the star-studded celebrations and an evening brimming with glitz and glamour, guests were treated to an indulgent spread of fine wines and a specially curated menu. BAFTA 2026, which took place last night, was attended by some high-profile names like Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, Emma Stone, Kate Hudson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessie Buckley, Timothée Chalamet, and Rose Byrne. According to OK! Magazine, as the stars mingled and celebrated their achievements, the evening offered more than just cinematic brilliance. It also delivered a carefully curated culinary and drinks experience. Here’s a closer look at what guests were sipping on last night.

Throughout the ceremony, nominees, presenters and VIP attendees were served a premium selection of wines from Casillero del Diablo’s acclaimed portfolio, with a selection chosen to complement the elegance of the occasion. The offerings included:
- Casillero del Diablo Reserva Especial Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, smooth and full-bodied, featuring notes of subtle spice, dark berries and a velvety finish.
- Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc, crisp and refreshing, with a vibrant citrus lift and bright tropical undertones, making it just the right choice for a lively celebration.
The thoughtfully selected wines added a refined touch to the evening, making sure that guests could toast the biggest moments of the night in style. Apart from alcoholic drinks, the menu also featured Casillero Zero Sparkling 0.5% alcohol-free, which is fresh and fruit-forward, offering bright flavour and balance for the non-alcoholic drinkers. Not only drinks, but also guests will later sit down to enjoy a curated menu that will pair perfectly with the wines.

What Food Was Served At The BAFTA 2026?
Guests later sat down to enjoy a curated menu which paired perfectly with the wines. Starters included roasted maple pumpkin rolls, woodland mushroom toast and crispy sage, celeriac and apple millefeuille and a basket of Cornish sea salt-toasted crispbreads.
The main menu had truffle chicken with chicken and truffle mushroom pithivier, butter-roasted potato, heritage cabbage, caramelised leek and pumpkin pithivier with creamed potato and heritage carrot. The menu concluded with desserts like a popcorn and chocolate mousse sundae, lemon and white chocolate meringue and chocolate and Black Forest gateau ganache.
