Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai Returns To Regular Operation Timings After Ease In Regional Tensions

Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara in Dubai has announced that it is back to its normal operating hours after several weeks of reduced access linked to regional tensions. The change took effect from June 20, allowing worshippers once again to visit the gurudwara during its full daily schedule.

Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai Resumes Full Schedule After Temporary Restrictions

The decision comes as life across the UAE continues to settle back into a more regular rhythm following a period of uncertainty in the region.

Under the restored timetable, the gurudwara is now open from 4:30 am until 8:30 pm each day.

That is a noticeable change from the temporary schedule in place earlier. During that period, visitors could only enter between 6am and 6pm, with access closing before the evening.

Devotees Can Return To Their Usual Visits

The shorter hours were introduced as a precaution while tensions in the region remained high.

But with conditions improving, the management has decided that the restrictions are no longer necessary.

For regular visitors, especially those who attend early morning prayers or evening gatherings, the return of longer opening hours will make participation much easier.

Religious Programmes Are Back On Track

Apart from that, the gurdwara also confirmed that its usual religious and community activities will now take place according to their normal schedule.

Places of worship often serve as more than prayer spaces. They are also centres for community support, gatherings and cultural activities.

That said, many institutions across the UAE had adjusted how they operated during the period of regional uncertainty. Some reduced visitor numbers, others shortened opening hours, and some moved parts of their activities online.

Guru Nanak Darbar was among those that temporarily changed operations as a safety measure.

For now, devotees can once again attend prayers, community events and other activities under the gurudwara’s usual timetable, bringing a sense of familiarity back to daily life.
