We have some news for John Mayer fans in India planning to attend the acclaimed singer-songwriter’s debut concert. Due to unforeseen circumstances, his Mumbai show has been postponed to February 11, 2026. The concert will still take place at Mahalaxmi Race Course, as originally planned.

BookMyShow Live announced the postponement of John Mayer’s India concert on social media. The concert date has been moved from January 22 to February 11. The silver lining is that all tickets purchased on BookMyShow will remain valid for the rescheduled date.

This will mark John Mayer’s first-ever performance in India. The seven-time Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter and acclaimed guitarist has captivated music lovers worldwide with hits such as Gravity, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, and Daughters. Ever since the announcement of his Mumbai concert, Indian fans have been buzzing with excitement.

Fans Not Happy With The Rescheduling

BookMyShow stated “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason behind the rescheduling of John Mayer’s India concert. However, fans who have already booked their tickets weren’t happy with this. Many of them were travelling to Mumbai to attend the concert and wondered how they would have to bear the cost of rescheduling their travel tickets as well.
