Maggi At Weddings? Creator’s Reel Shows Long Queue At Maggi Counter; Brand Responds

Maggi is an emotion. It’s nostalgia encased in a yellow packet. Those quick meals that accompany late-night binges, a sense of relief that kicks in after a mountain trek, and a college moment that stays with you all feature Maggi. Recently, an Indian creator spotted a Maggi counter at an Indian wedding. And guess what? It attracted the longest queues. The best part? The brand responded!

Taking to his Instagram handle, content creator Aditya Verma posted a video from an Indian wedding he attended. “You might have seen plenty of noodles and Chowmein counters at weddings. But have you seen Maggi?” he asks. In front of him is a caterer stirring a massive pot of Maggi noodles.

That’s when Verma grabbed the opportunity to request wedding planners and caterers to ensure there are counters dedicated to India’s favourite instant noodle brand. “Because Maggi is first love,” he explains. Echoing his sentiments are hordes of attendees standing surrounding the Maggi counter at the outdoor venue. In the chilly winter evening, guests are seen smiling and slurping bowls of noodles cooked hot in front of them. “You can understand how popular the snack is,” Verma explains.

Brand Has A Quirky Respond

And we don’t doubt it at all! The budding creator tagged the Indian instant noodle brand in the caption. “Make Maggi compulsory at Indian weddings,” he wrote. To this, the brand replied, “We agree.” Netizens had a field day in the comments section. One person rightly pointed out that the snack would be something they’d consume at home if their parents left for a wedding without them. Another wondered why the creator didn’t indulge in exotic dishes instead of an easily available one. Others resonated with his views and called the instant noodle their first love.
