The chef even shared pictures of the elegant dinner set-up for the celebrities and gave a glimpse of the diya-coded decor. Moreover, he reposted a story of a Momo dish, originally shared by Priyanka on her Instagram handle. Musaafer’s Mandala of Lights was a 6-course curated menu drawing inspiration from rangoli, the traditional Indian art form of intricate patterns created on the floor using flowers, natural dyes and rice flour.

Each plate weaved a story of colours, tradition and Indian heritage. With regional Indian influences dictating flavours, dishes were curated to highlight the subcontinent’s diverse culinary influences from the North, South, East and West regions.
