Priyanka Chopra Karwa Chauth Celebration Ft Vikas Khanna’s Bungalow
Priyanka Chopra shared a series of pictures on Instagram, highlighting sweet moments from her Karwa Chauth celebrations with husband Nick Jonas in New York. The actress revealed that Nick came home “in the middle of intense touring” to celebrate the festival with her.
The actress called him her “true chand” and thanked him for making sure he celebrated Karwa Chauth with her every year. She wrote, “Surprise!! Daddy’s back! In the middle of intense touring, when he comes back home, to make sure he spends Karva Chauth with me every year.”
Not just her husband, Priyanka’s mother-in-law and mom also made sure to pamper her. She shared that her MIL sent her sargi, the traditional pre-Karwa Chauth fasting meal, a day before. The cherry on top? She broke her fast with food from Chef Vikas Khanna’s Bungalow, thanks to her mother, Dr Madhu Akhouri Chopra.
Chef’s Sweet Surprise For PC’s Mother
Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, took to Instagram to share a reel of her “pre-Karwa Chauth dinner” at Bungalow in New York. She also made sure to bring a delicious meal for her daughter. What stood out, however, was the beautiful surprise Chef Vikas Khanna had planned for her.
In the reel, the chef is seen serving her a drink featuring an image of the actress’s late father, Capt. Dr Ashok Chopra, along with Priyanka, embossed on the surface. Taken aback by the surprise, she hugged him immediately and thanked him for the surprise. The image of the drink was later shared by Priyanka as well.
Festivals are not always about grand gestures. Sometimes, little things like showing up are more than enough!
