Turkish Airlines has now partnered with Google in a new initiative that aims to enhance the travel experience for passengers. The airline has now entered a collaboration with Google as a launch partner of its new Find Hub ‘share item location’ feature. Read on to know more about the initiative.
Turkish Airlines Collabs With Google For Its ‘Find Hub’ App
With this collaboration, the airline will now accept Find Hub-generated location links as part of its official baggage claim process. This collaboration is expected to help resolve cases of delayed or misplaced baggage more quickly and efficiently.

The passengers travelling with baggage equipped with a Find Hub-compatible tracker tag or accessory can generate a secure location link directly through the Find Hub app. This link can then be further shared with the Turkish Airlines baggage representative, which will allow the airline team to access precise location information and speed up the process of locating and returning lost bags.
How To Use The Find Hub App?
To use the feature, passengers have to open the Find Hub app, select their missing item and tap ‘Share Item Location.’ It will further generate a unique URL that can be provided to the airlines for item location as it updates.
The best part about this app is that passengers maintain full control of the process. One can start and stop the location anytime through the app, as the link expires after seven days automatically. Not only this, but the location sharing is turned off once the item is detected back with its owner. Additionally, all location data is encrypted to ensure passenger privacy and security.
This partnership between Turkish Airlines and Google highlights the airline’s continuous efforts to focus on passenger-centric innovation and to integrate advanced technology across every stage of the travel journey.
