Thanksgiving is a major holiday in the US, celebrated to express gratitude for the year’s blessings. While the traditional dinner usually includes a perfectly roasted turkey with sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce, one US man decided to switch things up this year. He gave his Thanksgiving feast a delicious Indian twist! Scroll on to see what his menu consisted of!
A Glimpse Into An Indian Thanksgiving Spread
Conner (@thedailydoingss) took to Instagram to share how he ditched the traditional Thanksgiving spread of turkey, bread rolls, and beans for a fully Indian feast instead. “Happy Indian Thanksgiving! Not native American, we’re talking Indian, Indian,” he said in the now-viral video.
For the holiday dinner, he switched the bread roll with some crispy samosas, and instead of turkey, he served his guests chicken tikka masala. As for the green beans, he took things up a notch and added good ol’ chana to the dinner table. Finally, he switched the stuffing with some chicken biryani! And as you can guess, we are definitely loving this swap!
