When we see celebrities and their families, we often think about all the glamour and privileges that come with fame. What we often overlook is the dark side that comes with the limelight. In the latest episode of Sunday Brunch, Tusshar Kapoor talked about the issues he faced growing up despite his so-called privileged background.
Tusshar Kapoor About His ‘Privileged’ Background & Issues
Over a delicious home-cooked meal, Tusshar Kapoor shared that he had been living in Juhu since he was a teenager. Before that, the Kapoor family lived in Pali Hill and the shift left quite an impact on Tusshar’s life. He shared that moving from a building filled with friends to a bungalow was a big change for him and he felt quite lonely because of this.
When Kamiya Jani asked him if being Jeetendra’s son helped him make new friends, he said that such things didn’t matter to kids as they don’t think so calculatively. Talking about the other side of privilege, he said, “Everyone thinks we are protected because we are from a so-called privileged background. They think we don’t feel lonely but that’s not true. We might be secure in certain areas of our life but other than that, we have our own issues. No matter where you are or where you come from, life has its way of knocking down your door. Then, you have to go through it, face it, deal with it, and grow up.”
