After taking over Twitter for $44 billion and firing 50 per cent of the staff and top executives, Elon Musk is unstoppable. He held his first meeting with his employees and raised concerns about the company’s economic outlook. He stressed the need for Twitter to start generating more income to stay economically viable.
No More Free Food For Twitter Employees
Twitter employees bid goodbye to free food and work from home among other things. The Twitter canteen served delicious free food to its employees like cheesy pizzas, fresh fruits and hearty rotisserie chicken. Well, with no more free food, Twitter employees are left with no choice but to get tiffins from home or get ready to shell extra for lunch. Vice President of Work Transformation, Tracy Hawkins, revealed that Twitter spent $20-$25 ( ₹1624 – ₹2030) a day per person for food for its employees.
