1. Monkey Spit Coffee

Monkey Spit Coffee is a rare coffee that is very popular in India and Taiwan. Monkey spit was a problem for farmers until they discovered that leftovers were imbued with a unique sweet flavor and vanilla scent. It is made from coffee beans chewed and regurgitated. The saliva is collected and processed into these coffee beans.

2. Kopi Luwak

Kopi Luwak is the world’s most expensive and rare coffee. But the peculiarity is that the coffee is made from cat poop. Yes, either from the cat’s poop or from the beans that are partially digested and excreted by civet cats (a catlike creature).

3. Egg Coffee

Vietnam’s Cà Phê Trung, or egg coffee, is more of a dessert than coffee. It is said to be created due to the shortage of milk during the war. Made with chicken egg yolk, coffee powder, and cheese, only adventurous foodies can dare to try this.

4. Nitro Brew Coffee

Nitrogen Brew coffee is made like beer. It has an addition of nitrogen gas which creates a smooth texture in it. The amount of caffeine present in this is much higher than the regular hot coffee. And it is served directly from the machine with no ice.

5. Elephant Dung Coffee

The Black Ivory Coffee Company feeds elephant’s coffee beans and collects elephant dung. This is one of his most expensive coffees in the world, costing over $1,000 a pound. The coffee has an unusual aroma of spices, chocolate, and even grass.
