This development comes at a time when a lot of holidaymakers generally plan to enjoy a vacation in nearby countries for a short getaway during their extended break. However, to retain them, as revealed in a report by the Gulf News, properties are offering significant savings on room rates, complimentary upgrades, exclusive amenities like spa treatments, generous food & beverage credits, and even private beach access through these club offers. They are trying to entice the customers so that they can spend their time in the UAE for a holiday.

For instance, the Al Maya Island Resort, which is located 15 minutes via boat from Abu Dhabi, and is a great sanctuary for the UAE residents who are looking for a luxurious vacation. As it happens, according to research by the World Travel & Tourism Council, it was revealed that the UAE is set for another record year in 2025. It is expected that the sector might contribute AED267.5 billion to the national economy. So, this accounts for about 13% of the GDP.
