Instagram launched a music feature in 2018- however, the update was not available in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) until now. And guess what? Now finally, after three years, UAE-ites can add music to their stories. Yep, you read that right! Adding your favourite tunes to the stories is now possible.

Instagram Is Slowly Rolling Out The Music Feature In The UAE
Music for Instagram and Facebook users in the UAE has finally launched and is slowly rolling out in the region. Some users have already got access to this feature, while others are waiting to explore the music option. And we are sure soon everyone will be able to use these feature in the UAE.
On this, a statement from Facebook Inc said,
“People have always come to Facebook and Instagram to express themselves and be entertained, and we’re focused on bringing music into the ways people share, connect and express themselves. For that reason, we’ve been working with creators and music partners around the world to help people connect and share how they feel through music across the Facebook family of apps. We see music as a core part of the future of entertainment on Facebook and Instagram. Now there are even more ways for people to create and discover content they’ll love.”

The Feature Works For Both Instagram And Facebook Stories
Well, the music update comes in the UAE as TikTok is continuing to grow in the UAE. While the music bit is sorted in the Middle East, users are still the UAE are still waiting for the Instagram Reels feature to become available.
