UAE Lifts Travel Ban On Lebanon; Emiratis Who Want To Travel, Take Note Of These Rules

Finally, after a long time, the UAE has decided to lift the travel ban on Lebanon. But this ain’t as easy as it looks. The UAE has laid out certain rules and guidelines to follow. Citizens desiring to travel to Lebanon would be mandated to comply with these regulations. So let’s dive deeper to understand the list of mandatory guidelines to ensure a safe and smooth transit.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE Uplift Lebanon Travel Ban

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has allowed the upliftment of the travel ban. Starting 7th May, travellers visiting Lebanon from the UAE can start booking their tickets. But what led to this decision? President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s directives and an official visit of Joseph Aoun, President of Lebanon, to the UAE. The official lifting of the travel ban was a joint decision agreed between President Auon and President Sheikh Mohammed. But as we said above, travelling to Lebanon is not a walk in the garden. You’ll need to follow the outlined rules first. Here’s the list:

Steps To Follow Before Flying To Lebanon From UAE

  1. Traveller needs a mandatory registration on MoFA’s Twajudi service before flying from UAE Airports. No departures without registration.
  2. Any individual flying to and from Lebanon would be required to inform the authorities about their plan.
  3. From residential address to purpose, every small detail regarding the travel plans needs to be updated on the registered app. Legal actions could be taken in case of failure of updation.

MoFA’s suggests strict adherence to these rules and guidelines for the safety of citizens.
