UAE passport has received a prestigious ranking multiple times in recent years. The UAE passport continues to be the strongest in the region, even though there is an increase of three ranks. It stands as the 12th most potent passport in the world currently. The UAE passport has maintained its dominance in the most recent Henley Passport Index rankings. Let’s learn more about this Index and the ranking of the UAE passport.
UAE Passport Ranks 12th Position According To The Latest Index
According to the most current Henley Passport Index, which was published on Tuesday, those with UAE passports may now travel to 179 countries without a visa.
According to the chairman of Henley & Partners to Arabian Business, this figure has climbed from 176 nations in July 2022 and 178 countries from the Q4 of the previous year. The UAE has reportedly added an outstanding 107 locations to its visa-free score since 2013. This has resulted in a significant jump of 44 places in the ranking over the previous 10 years. So the immense jump of UAE Passport from 56th to 12th position is really surprising. It’s almost twice the rankings of Colombia which climbed 28 places to take up position 37.
Since the ranking system’s inception in 2006, this is the highest position the UAE has attained. UAE presently shares the slot with Cyprus, up 15th from where it was last year.
